Southcorp is the largest Australian-owned
wine producer and one of the top five wine companies in the
world.
Challenge:
Southcorp wanted to update their look. They had several complaints
from Shareholders that their investor Relations area was unsatisfactory
and the design was outdated. We (1) needed to find out what
the investors were unhappy with and how to change the site
to make it more useful.
Southcorp represents many brands of wine. All of these were
competing for space on the site. In addition to being crowded,
it did not emulate the great tradition of wine making. Southcorp
had great brands and the site looked and worked more like
a news story.

Solution:
Instead of just updating the Investor Relations area of the
site we interviewed users and investors to garner the truth
behind their opinion of the site. The business wanted to add
more content so we created a new site map and content matrix
for both intuitive navigation and easy maintenance.
The site needed to be W3C compliant, the text needed to
be expandable and it also needed to work with screen readers.
The site was redesigned to accommodate the needs of the
users and a elegant design was developed to suit the brand.
